Despair is a feeling. Feelings pass.

Riding the waves that come when I read or think of environmental degradation, the continuing objectification of women as sex servants/servant wives and of people as consumers or slaves,

I pause.

I know I have power within me, and in my connection to others. This oppressive system and its actors will not kill my spirit.

Behold: I continue to live, love, learn, pray, move energy, and do magic for the good and for healing! Are you with me? I smile as I ask that, and I hold out my hand. Here we are, like our ancestors before. We are alive and no one is gonna stop us. Everything we do has a impact.

I believe in us. Let’s keep riding the waves.
